It's that time again. Time to take down the Christmas decorations and put them away for another year. I sat having my coffee and realized that I had not skecthed any of the decorations for EDM # 46 so I grabbed my moleskine and my artpen and went to work.
After I finished taking all the decorations down and sat recovering from the effort I started to add in some color. I am pleased with the result because it brings back the beauty of our Christmas each time I look at it.

Fabulous sketch! Well done for grabbing that opportunity!
GORGEOUS sketch!! Love especially those bricks and the swag!! SUPER!
Nice job.
I missed the holiday challenge - smart taking the opportunity when you could.
This is so lovely! It makes me want to dig out the decorations and put them all back up on the mantle. I had a really hard time putting them away this year. My wreath is still up there on the fireplace, and I lit it today. I'm sure I'll finally pack it away, but putting the nutcrackers in their boxes made me so sad, so I left the wreath for just a little while longer. This sketch is filled with holiday colors... thanks for sharing it with us!
I love this drawing. Great colour and line and a wonderful festive feel.

Wonderful sketch, Zeke! I agree with Jim -- this would make a great Christmas card next year!
I'm glad you are happy with the result Zeke, because it is really a beautiful sketch and I think you coloured it very well. Lovely memories for you there. :o)
